    GK MB 200: Part Two

Hi, I really love the GK MB 200. Just picked up an Ampeg 2 x 10 Micro Stack cabinet. The combination sounds great and it is such a small package. I run my Carvin BB70 through it. Joe [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

    GK MB 200: Part Two

Hi, Obviously from the image, I did plug a 1/4" a few times before I caught on. Then I was worried that I may have damaged the connector. However, it works great with the Speakon connector. Joe

    GK MB 200: Part Two

I just purchased a new MB200 from Sweetwater, to my surprise I could not use a 1/4" connector. Sweetwater said it was a design change so it will only use the Speakon connector to the head. Anyone else experience this? I've read conflicting things online but my unit only uses the speakon plug...

Hi guys, Believe it or not, I decided to sell the 183. I did send Tom an email to give him a head's up, albeit a very short one. This has NOTHING to do with the bass, it is a spectacular instrument. The major reason for the decision is that I am also in the process of purchasing a Gibson L5...

Absolutely, my studio is way less cluttered. For those interesed, I recently replaced my Adam Audio A7's with Genelec 8030's. Both are great NF Monitors but I prefer the Genelec's. Joe [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Yes, as has the quality. No cross-bleeding, great S/N ratio, etc. It still amazes me.

Hi, I am using Logic Express 9 and like it. My last experience with multitrack home recording was a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder back in the '80's. Computer recording makes me feel a bit like the Geico Caveman! I use the Apogee Duet for my interface. Joe

Well, I finally got around to unpacking my 183 and it is amazing! I wanted to thank Tom for making this a great experience from start to finish. The neck and fingerboard are remarkable! WOW! It sounds fantastic thru my PJB Flightcase too! Regards, Joe [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]...
