Really? I've heard they come with D'addario nickels? For me my L2k generally sounds pretty great with any string, but I'm quite fond of the rotosounds / fender steels when they die down a bit :)

At the risk of coming across like a dumbass, does it have strap locks? For about a week I thought I had a buzz at the nut on one of my basses, then realized it was just the e string vibrating enough so that the strap lock rattles. /blonde moment, lol

I get the same, before you say more practice there's a particular zing (don't know the word to describe it) and it became extremely apparent to me when I was playing w/ distortion on. Using Fender stainless steels, if there is a solution i'd love to hear it - until then I'll keep practicing and...

These are GREAT on my L2K trib. I hate dead strings but they still sound brilliant even after months.

Thanks for the replys, seems a bit risky so I might not do it haha :) Only reason I didn't post there was because my firefox has this "connection interrupted" problem that comes up for some sites every now and then and I couldn't be arsed switching to IE :rollno::hiding:.

So I have a set of B-E-A-D strings on right now, will I do any permanent damage if I tune the same strings to E-A-D-G? I just like the tone and feel of really thick strings. Cheers and sorry if this has been asked before, can't find an answer anywhere.

lol for real. My local store has 5 basses in the entire catalog (yes I counted). Australia sometimes sucks.... ahh nah it rules, just basses here suck haha.

So I have a warwick profet 5.1 which is 500w @ 4ohm I want to run two 8ohm cabs, do they both have to be 500w? cheers. (and yes, I have searched and read the FAQ many times and am having a lot of trouble understanding, so pardon the stupidity)
