    Fender Rumble Club

My home made unit that makes it possible to connect two 8 ohm speaker cabinets in series. I am very pleased with it.

    Fender Rumble Club

My 50 Watt RMS practice rig at home. 2x8 ohm in series = 16 ohm load connected to Fender Rumble 100 V3 combo amplififier in a home made head chassis. The cabinets are Fender Rumble 115 V3 and Fender Rumble 410 V3.

    Fender Rumble Club

Inspired by this forum, I have now redesigned my home made Custom Fender Rumble V3 head. At the time I am using my Fender Rumble 115 V3 cabinet and I am aware of minimum 8 ohm speaker load. Cheers!

Great idea about that Rumble 15 Head. I made myself at home a Rumble 100 Head, with speakon connector and I beware of minimum 8 ohm load. Your idea is brilliant and it brings my thinking about developing my design for my Rumble 100 head further. Many thanks for that. Cheers!

    Genzler Amplification Club

Picture of my beloved Genzler Magellan 350 suited with the cheaper cabinets Fender Rumble 410 + 115. My dream is to one day buy the Genzler Bass Array 15-3 SLT and the Genzler Bass Array 210-3. I had a Markbass Little Mark IV head to comparison, but I sold it. I think Genzler amplification is...

    Best 15” speaker

I suppose spanish made Beyma 15P80FeN 8 ohms Frequency range: 30 - 4000 Hz Weight: 13.5 kg The low B on a 5 string bass is 30,8 Hz and I suppose it is recommended to have a speaker that is designed for that. https://usspeaker.com/beyma%2015P80fe-1.htm

    Fender Rumble Club

Instead of using money on effect pedals (for example a chorus pedal for use on my fretless) I think I start save that money and some more for a future purchase of a Rumble Stage 800 (which is included the footswitch MGT4). In a teaching book (The Lost Art of Country Bass by Keith Rosier) I have...

What strings do you use on your precision bass?

I am impressed by the lovely sound that comes from these strings Thomastik-Infeld JAZZ JF 344 Electric Bass flat wound, long scale (43 - 56 - 70 - 100)

    Finger or pick?

The sound of finger picking is mellow and not so sharp, therefore I only use finger picking.

Your suggestion for the most *TONEFUL* amp for home-only use

At home I use a Fender Rumble 100 V3. It has more than enough power and a nice tone. I miss a compression horn. And therefore I am dreaming about upgrading it to a Fender Rumble 200 V3 or Rumble 500 V3.

    What's your favorite Roundwound?

I prefer GHS Pressurewounds. A smoothed roundwound. They have much less string noise. The tone is punchy and full bodied. I use GHS ML7200 (44-58-80-102).
