    I got the short scale thunderbird after an injury. I kept it for the punchy tone. Little thing hits like a brick wall. I think the body is actually a firebird ;)

    Yep, the luthier said just glue and clamp and it is rock solid. I have seen some sorta hideous volute repairs over the years and some spline type that were performed like works of art.

    Great stuff... Here is a very timely old reggae tune (dem wearing, de Adidas, de Puma). Live Reggae like this with a thunderbird would be the coolest thing ever.

    Yeah, massive. Thunderbirds are not just for rock. Funny how every time I play a reggae bassline my rocker bandmates get this look of fear on their faces. I don't get it. Really guitar guy, can you hold off to the second beat?
