    Elixir - My favorite Bass strings

    Hi, I wanted to ask you a question. I have a Stingray and a Jazz Bass, and I was thinking of putting Elixir SS strings on them. Would you recommend 100-45 or 105-45 gauge strings? I play mostly fingerstyle and a little bit of slap bass, but I'm getting into it more and more. Thank you.

    Hey, so while I really liked the Lo Riders on my Jazz Bass, the Lo Riders on my Stingray with a Status Graphite neck might be too responsive. Maybe there's too much stiffness between the neck and the strings. I think I'll try the Fat Beams on it.

    There are some really great free plugins, it's cool. I've tried practically everything that caught my eye, and I think the studio preamp is really great and I love the bit crusher. What about you?

    Hi and thanks for this marketplace and for being able to test the effects. I don't know what other people think, but couldn't we try the effects for a limited time and not with such frequent sound interruptions? I don't know if that's possible?

    I've had the Lo Riders on my Stingray since December. They were great at first, but now I still get good treble, but the sound is becoming a bit dry. Maybe it's time to change them? The sound is less lively.
