No problem, I'm already #25. I was just posting additional pics to liven up the joint. Thank you though.

No. My Rumble 500 v3 combo has rubber feet attached by wood screws.

I brought it up to Invalid Link Removed (a family shop local to me). I believe they send pickups down to a specialty shop in upstate NJ to get rewound/potted. Since I picked up the bass off eBay, warranty wasn't an option. The only hiccup was that I could not order a new OEM pickup from...

Such a nice inexpensive bass deserves a thread with a little more action. I'll help. I had the bass set up with GHS 45-105's. The bridge/treble pickup went out and had to be rewound. Aside from that, it plays/sounds great.

They are ported out the front. I count two and measure about 3.75" diameter. Depth is 4.25" The cabinet does not have metal receptacles for casters on the bottom. The four nubs are screwed in with wood screws (see pics). Here's a couple pics of the cab. Note that the top has 4 screw-in...

The only issue is: The R500 combo has a handle on the top, but not the sides. The 2x10 cab has handles on the sides, but not on the top. So if you're looking to make a single trip to the van and grab both of them at the same time, you're going to have to do a bit of a cantankerous cowboy...

    I'm using a R500 v3 combo on top of a matching 2x10. Works beautifully.

It's difficult to put into words, since my "Bass Ear" is pretty immature. I can perceive when something produces more low end. I can perceive when a particular frequency range is missing due to mismatched components, crosstalk, and poor cabinet design. I can hear the difference between front...

I test drove the Rumble 410 and compared it to a couple others. I found that it completely outclassed other cabinets in its price echelon (410XL, B410, CX410). It was only when compared to the $500-$700 echelon where it started to be outclassed by neo-equipped cabinets. The $700-1000 echelon...

While I am sure that the result is something louder than that of a single 500c and doesn't sound bad, I simply cannot believe that a 10" driven by 125 watts can sound the same as a 10" driven by 63 watts. There has got to be variance in terms of timbre and SPL, especially as the volume increases.

The 4x10 cab looks wonderful. If you're going for a R500 head, or B500 head, go for it. If you're wanting a Rumble 500C, you want the 2x10 instead to avoid a volume/power mismatch. If you plug the 500C into a 8ohm 410, you end up driving 2 speakers with 250w and the other 4 speakers with...

Rumble 500v3 combo needs: Better soft-on (no pop) Speakon connector for speaker-out. Fender needs to sell a speaker cable with an insulated jacket. Cover accessory Higher quality hex nut on input jack. Better training for resellers. An actual DI

Indeed. What we do know is that the SPL output scales differently from one size to another. If the SPL graphs lines up all the way through the usable-volume range of the head, you're good. Otherwise you end up with a rig that sounds great at medium volume, but horrible at low or high volume...

It was my main consideration until the 2x10 cabinet was released, since the surface area of a 15 is pretty close to that of 2x10's. Combining a 2x10 with a 1x15 will typically result in a timbre and SPL mismatch. My honest opinion is that someone should commit to 10's, 12's, or 15's for a...
