I keep buying guitars n basses if I find them ultra cheap, that may need some work. Dont need new guiitars, because they are new, and Im more a DIY guy, that likes to setup and repair gear. Sometimes only because I feel that if I wont buy the cheap stuff itd be destroyed and die in slow hard...

Knobs are quite individual. Personally I love strat style knobs, but dont like the speed knobs. In this case I'd go with non-guitar knobs, but rather those: Invalid Link Removed In my country you can easily buy those in specialistic audio shop.

Made by Polish manufacturer Jacek Kobylski in Piastow near my hometown. Dont know if he exports his basses worldwide, but here in Poland its quite known brand

Yup, to me its a Warwick based homemade, but with a proper cleaning it can be really good

By some time I got my hands on DDR made Musima Deluxe bass. That was a nice bass. Have no suggestions thats yer project, I like DIY basses. Id reccomend looking at eastern made basses. Also very interestingly shaped

Thats the reason I started to make pickguards on my own when I have the old one as a template. It works well with monocromatic, because Im using plexi sheets.

I own few basses now, every single one has different sounding. I havent ever been bored by any bass, even with my first one, that I left, because its a machine for metal (I mean design here), not for rythms I'm playing now
