Actually using delay sync without incoming MIDI sync signal with different divisions gives you some other useful delay times in different tempi. For example 1/8D in 120 BPM (375ms) equals 1/4 in 160BPM or 1/8 in 80BPM and 1/4T in 120BPM (333.33ms) equals 1/4 in 180BPM or 1/8 in 90BPM. It’s just...

Actually, if you use an LFO with a Flexi then you can kind of fine tune it with the curves and other possibilities.

If the parameter is already a Flexi destination then you cannot assign another MIDI CC via Flexi. But the first option could work, only if you want to use the range control for fine tuning the split point, then it’s a bit trickier. Then you have to toggle between 0 and let’s say 100.

First thing, you have to have two free Flexis, so with patches using more than two Flexis you have to modify them. The other thing is that finding exact split points is limited with just the 6 hard transition curves. They are in 4th or 5th steps when used with Pitch as source if I recall it...

In my humble opinion there are not too many users who would use the pedal this way, switching the mode between songs. The other thing is that I have a doubt that the same amplifier, mixer channel for bass and guitar is a good idea at all. In a pro setup it is two amps (or two mixer channels) and...

Well, a “clean” patch isn’t really clean, it is not true bypass. AD/DA conversion occurs in that case. (As a benefit you can adjust bass volume level for that patch though.)

One of the special LFOs (with triangle, saw and square waveforms) for the flexi modulation is free running the other is triggered. This preset and demo was made with the triggered one. Just right now there is no midi clock sync capability but it is not ruled out.

Another taster of the V3. Just a little fun with the new flexi mod with the new square LFO. Play a few low notes on the bass and there is an 80s octave synth bass line. <iframe width="100%" height="166" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src=""></iframe>

As I promised, here is an example of the pseudo split possibilities of the synth part in the V3 firmware. In the upper region more oscillators are joining in and the character changes too.

Well, I have to clear up a misunderstanding here. When I programmed these sounds I had no bass guitar at hand (I am a keyboard and sax player, so sometimes a friend can help me out with an instrument), so I used a sample bass for triggering the presets. So what you hear as “clean” sound, it will...

In the editor's setup did you choose the FI MIDI input (the UM-One) for the MIDI output? If you are correctly connected then the FI's display changes right away as you select a preset in the editor, the first two caracters are showing a dash sign.

I have a feeling that the editor's MIDI output is not routed the FI and the piano tone you are hearing is the soundcard's synth in the computer. With proper routing AND connecting the FI to an amp (or plugging it's audio output to your soundcard audio input) pressing the virtual keyboard you...

If you use a MIDI controller with the FI I don't see any reason not to use it in Direct mode. Even without one there are much more possibilities compared to the Default mode. With the MIDI 67 command and Default mode you can simulate the original Deep Impact with a switch pedal in the Program...

I have tried with rubber washers, with the right size three of them can be fitted inside the pot's cap and it helps a lot. . So you need 9 washers alltogether for the three upper knobs.
