Playing it is pretty effortless, it's lighter and smaller but in my opinion sounds nothing like a thunderbird. It sounds quite bright.

Hi all. Long time no see, thanks to chucky stiletti my ashdown is still going strong. Been renovating the house for the last few years and tinkering with a few bits and bats. Anyway I bought this second hand. Might look like a thunderbird but it sure ain't. Fazeley, £53 on the bay.

Good grief, how many pages. Carpal tunnel surgery all went well, don't get pins and needles anymore when I play, not do I get the pain in my arm at night which used to wake me up. Also thanks to @Chucky Stiletti for the massive help getting my ashdown sorted.

The Official Red 'n' Rosewood Club!

For £200 it's a decent bit of kit.

I would like to learn bass.

I started late 70,s on a loaned instrument. Was shown basic 3 bars for rnr and rat trap by the boomtown rats. No apps, YouTube vids just records and the radio. Harley Benton is a good brand and they also do amps n cabs. Best advice, enjoy.

Carpal tunnel decompression surgery went ok Tuesday, felt like id been hit with sledge hammer once the local anesthetic wore off, should have hit the ibruprofen straight away. And now four days later my hand is strong enough to fret, still tender but no great pain. No throbbing or numbness...

Hull and Liverpool used to be 2 of the UK's biggest ports with cheap back to back terraced housing for all the dock workers, not needed now due to mechanisation. Both have been, rebuilt, to support todays commerce. The village I live in now is smaller than the estate I used to live on in Leeds.

Good guess, about 20 miles further north east on the coast. Originally from Leeds.

No, just salt. Her indoors has fruit, treacle, chocolate spread or icecream on hers, not at the same time though.
