Once you play a RIC you will never want to stop playing it. RICs are not only collection items.. they are works of art.. and the sound is like nothing you've ever heard before. Very, very snappy and bright... its the king of treble. No other bass has the feel of a RIC either...

I can't see how some people don't think of strings as the most vital choice. The right brand name can make you play better, but most important, i think the right gauge can make you play much better. I look back at the years when i only used Dean Markleys and i say "what was i thinking??" :)

What exactly is the difference between the TP and the XL series? Sean, i think you got a good deal, 410 cab and 2000 head for $800 new is pretty good i think.
