the thing the Indian guy played, the table tapper, is called a harpejji... a variation on the whole tapping idea, there are vids on youtube of it in action... i've also downloaded a new vid lately, an arrangement of some themes from Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, a classical guitar concerto...

on his fretted touchstyle instruments the intonation's been dandy, i've checked out 4 of his axes and own one myself, and they're all fine... if you wish to change the string gauges you'll need to do some adjustments at the bridge, which can be a challenge because kevin glues the saddles in...

a year ago i waited two months for my 12 stringer... probably 6 months ago a student in Napa waited a couple of weeks... a friend of mine ordered one recently and got it in 2 weeks as well, as did another buddy in san fran; perhaps kevin's even faster now than ever from the looks of things...

notice it has 3 pickups, how's that working 4u? and what was the reason for it? have fun!

i added some fuzzy velcro to the damper kevin sent, also stuck some foam under his damper, seems to do the trick... glad you're getting things ironed out, ge, you will have a truckload of fun with it! re harmonix: the action is so low that it seems harmonix haven't worked for me yet, they don't...

yeah i had the same problem tuning basses in 5ths, any running bass line or scalar pattern that you might wanna do in the bass is like really unrealistic when basses are tuned in 5ths, in 4ths no problem! have fun ge!
