    the thing the Indian guy played, the table tapper, is called a harpejji... a variation on the whole tapping idea, there are vids on youtube of it in action... i've also downloaded a new vid lately, an arrangement of some themes from Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, a classical guitar concerto...

    a year ago i waited two months for my 12 stringer... probably 6 months ago a student in Napa waited a couple of weeks... a friend of mine ordered one recently and got it in 2 weeks as well, as did another buddy in san fran; perhaps kevin's even faster now than ever from the looks of things...

    yeah i had the same problem tuning basses in 5ths, any running bass line or scalar pattern that you might wanna do in the bass is like really unrealistic when basses are tuned in 5ths, in 4ths no problem! have fun ge!
