Seymour Duncan FOOZ Analog Fuzz Synthesizer Pedal

Thanks for this. So you don't want to exchange it for another Fooz first and see if you got a dud?

    Moogerfoogers Discontinued

I wouldn't be surprised to see them roll out another pedal line. Still, I'm glad I've got the Foogers I craved. Prices were never pretty on these but seems they will only get worse now that they're "rare." I'm a nut for the Moog sound though. 3 MF's, 3 Min MF's, 2 Moog synths, 1 shaged bank...

TC MojoMojo - bargain for bass

I love mine. Bass, guitars, synths, it is nice on all of them. Probably the best $50 I've ever spent on a new pedal.

RIP Glenn Snoddy, the father of fuzz

Rest in Peace Mr. Snoddy. The section below highlights the very powerful impact of "happy accidents." "A malfunction in the console through which the playing of the electric bass guitarist Grady Martin was being transmitted caused the original fuzz-tone effect, Mr. Snoddy said in a video made...

    Pigtronix RingMaster

This seems like a fun tool. It's almost like they took the best of the original Mothership and split it into 2 pedals, with version 2 now available and the RingMaster just being released. It's a ring mod/tremolo/oddity pedal, so it's obviously for the adventurous. I have a Moog, but still....I...

First pedal board, what do you all think?

That's a very under-appreciated version of Memory Man, good call. You can make INSANE sounds with it. Love it.

Anybody play a bass that is cheaper than a SINGLE pedal on their board?

My Ibanez GSR200 was my first bass and is still my preferred just because it's what I started learning on. I've grown attached to my cheap 4 stringer that retails for $200 new, with used deals at around $110-125. The other night, I experimented it with on my Eventide H9 max, which costs more...

I'm loving that enclosure, one of the best looking I've ever seen.

    Dwarfcraft Ghost Fax Phase Computer

Dwarfcraft glitch phaser pedal. I like some of the sounds here, definitely like the fact that we're getting more and more experimental modulation pedals to pick out. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] "The pedal has four modes of operation: Standard, Manual, Envelope Up, and Envelope Down...

    Scoop EQ pedal?

I have the Empress and it strikes a nice balance between being simple to use while also being highly configurable. Pretty quiet for a pedal, too. About the only drawback is the price, but that's relative and pedal deals are always there to be had. I'd go for it if your other options don't work out.

Unexpected and unlikely pedals you really like

Akai HeadRush : Quirky delay and looper, with an insane 23 seconds (!) of delay times. It isn't "warm", isn't analog, doesn't do tape delay well, and is quite large. But when I want experimental sounds, it's a great tool. Rocktron Austin Gold: Most of Rocktron's stuff sounds trash to me, and...

Nerve damage or the dreaded carpal tunnel syndrome

That's discouraging to hear. I have had CTS for years and can't put off the surgery any more. Was hoping I'd have the restoration of feeling and as a bonus, some kind of ape strength in the hands and fingers once rehabbed. Perhaps I was being a tad too optimistic.
