    mobis.fr original wiring is a .1 microfarad from right to middle terminals volume to tone. wiring on CV 60 is .06 microfarad from right to right. The Birdman - go to Fender site they made the original 62 P Bass.

    The bridge is a standard vintage bridge not a Badass. The finish does look thin and dull but that could be neglect.

    Gear doesn't make the player, the player makes the gear. Look in this month's Bassplayer Magazine, the bass player for Calexico plays a Squier Jazz Bass. Put your money and time into what the folks above have said, lessons and practice. Learn everyday. I still do.
