A picture that will make you cringe.

I meant string-wise, not equipment-wise. I regard Campbell as a very good bassist, but he only uses low D and A string, sometimes high D. And comparing a crappy Fender/Marshall rig to a custom Jackson/Mesa rig is like comparing a pile of waste with a 5 tons of gold.

Here come the flames :hiding:

No flames, BUT!
when you say "Fender/Marshall rig"..
I think you mean
Squier/Guitar rig.

:smug:

On another forum I frequent, someone made a post saying how they think they are going to switch from guitar to bass, because they think their guitar playing is getting stale and that playing bass will let them have more fun on stage since they don't have to concentrate as much.

They also included a picture of their current bass setup.

Hmmm... i don't see anything wrong here...

Beyond the somewhat obviously funny aspects here, this guy will get out of the bass exactly what he puts into it.

I don't like to judge others if I can help it, and I hope the guy makes the most of his situation, but that looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Hopefully, he'll learn something from the experience.

I just want to see his thread named "I auditioned for a band, man were they tools..." after he auditions for a band.

I'm sure there'll be a part where he tries to get a hold on the guitarist's guitar to show them what he's capable of,then a part where he was kicked out or was beaten by the band.:D

The only thing in that picture that makes me cringe is that pink strap ...
