how can i make it competitive then?

So my b200h head does not feel like 200 watts, im going against a fender 100h guitar head and that on 3 drowns me out with my dials maxed out. It says 200w at 4 ohms but i bought the b115 8 ohm cab, is it gonna be louder if i hook up another cab?

money isnt an option on electronics, i was expecting a lil more on the duncan antiquity's, 80.95 a piece isnt bad. what do you feel about the fender custom shop 60's noiseless? or the fender vintage 62?

Does this buy me into the club?

id imagine standard is insuffiecient. any reccomendations, i play classsic rock and blues, usually have on nylon tape wound fender strings.

Hi first of all im new to the site and fairly new to bass playing in general, i was a guitard for 10 years but the band needed a bass player so i picked up and didnt struggle tremendously with anything they were playing. i bought the acoustic b200h head and the b115 amp, i like it the price...

so if i was gonna spend $2,000 would i be better off looking for a vintage orange amp rather than this new 200w bastard?

I also dislike when the guitar part of the stage takes Tom Petty's Breakdown to a record 18 minutes long with ad lib solo hahahaha everyone knows how fun that song is on bass, lol.
