I purchased an mb10 & mb210. I have run them both a few times through my 4ohm brx 210. Reading through some of these posts, apparently you are not supposed to run these amps through a 4 ohm cab?
carvin bx500 with a carvin brx 210,Hard to beat! for a little more money I really like the simplicity and tone of markbass lmiii. Whatever head you choose, the carvin brx cabs are hard to beat! I would'nt go with a combo personally when bassheads and cabs are so much lighter these days, you have...
Carvin has some different options from combos to a bx500 thru a brx 210. all small, powerful little rigs. They really have some great gear that is very affordable, worth checking out.
Never played the eden, own brx210,it is a fantastic 210. I use it alone for most indoor gigs with a lmiii and and it sounds great. brx rated 600 watts,it handles the 500 watt lmiii without breaking a sweat. also have a brx 410. I never was into carvin before until jorg schroeder recommended their...
I play bx500 and a lmiii through brx 410 and brx 210. You will be suprised at how big the brx210 sounds,I've had other players comment on this also. If going with carvin, get the brx line. try 1 210 and if it is not enough order one later. If you run 2 of the brx210's they are 4 ohm cabs,you...
I bought a 412 guitar cab once and pulled out about 20 screws to take the back off to swap out speakers and found a stack of playboy's. Borrowed a friends fender deluxe reverb once and found a pair of dirty underwear in the back... very disturbing!:eyebrow:
It's always fun to see what other players are using , If a fellow bass player sounds great, their rig looks cool in my opinion! I like to see players pulling great tone out of configurations that are different,it is interesting to me! I love the sound and look of big ampegs but to me ampegs are...
Wanting to trade a schroeder 21012 light for a markbass 215 cab, I have 2 of these schroeders and 1 is enough. will consider other 215's but would really like to find a markbass!
GENZ BENZ,G.K.,AVATAR CABS,SCHROEDER CABS,MARKBASS,CARVIN, SWR ,ETC... All of these companies put out quality lightweight rigs that should work for you. You can find alot of this, used, on t.b classifieds or craigslist alot cheaper. Good Luck!
carvin brx210 is getting it done for me. 4 ohms 600 watt power handeling. $375.00 + tax & shipping. this is a rocking little 210! amazing how much low, punchy sound comes out of this little box. Alot of people seem to like the avatars also, never tried them but I am guessing they are good,Good Luck!
I tried carvin gear for the 1st time a year ago when I bought brx 410 and brx210 powered by b1500 and bx500. I could'nt be more pleased with these cabs! they are built extremely well and take everything I throw at them without a problem,I play rock/red dirt outlaw country and with a variety band...
Homesick?you've been there for more than 10 yrs, that is your home! just kidding, but seriously I would wait till fall, the heat and humidity really sucks! What was this thread about?:D
I really like my bx500,If you decide on this head it will handle 2 ohm load. the carvin brx cabs are 4 ohms,I might suggest getting 2 of the brx 210's. this head thru one of these 210's is impressive and enough power for alot of venues, if you need more output stack 2 210's vertically(like...
Jimmy seems to be the man who translates the wisdom from the guys who know what they are talking about and makes it understandable to the bass playing neanderthals like myself,Thanks for the advice!:bassist:
