Gorgeous one. But these pickups take it to after 1984, they look like the Super P5/J5. Late 70s were the Super4, brown soapbars single coil, way better and fatter sound, despite the lower output.

RB850 stock are amazing basses. Both the one with humbucking coil taps and the later models with soapbars Low Impedance pickups are tone machines.

These pickups are the J5s and P5s, regular Precision and Jazz pickups under the balck cover. But the adjustable pole pieces make a good difference, especially with the Jazz bridge pickup, wich tend to have weak D and A. I have a different bass with the same pickups (1984 Musician MC888, Bean Bass)
