When I first decided on a Muff it was actually a toss up between the TFR and the Greystache. I decided on the Tall Font because of simplicity (at the time it was my first pedal). I'll have to revisit Fuzzrocious. This seems right.

Oh yeah, it sounds great! And the synthyness is more pronounced in both of them which I'm not looking for right now. I'm getting some fantastic syth tones from Meatbox -> dirt -> The Depths -> Obscura delay.

Meatbox has officially retired the Octamizer. It tracks a little better and sounds less synthy.

I'm not sure. For my use it doesn't matter either. I use a short scale passive with Chrome flats. That's my thing. I do tend to use the bridge humbucker and roll the tone knob up and it makes a noticeable difference.

Yes, that's what I do when I transition from personal practice to a band setting. It works but screws me whenever I stack other dirt or some modulation. I want to set the Muff to slightly above unity and be able to have the tone cut through, not just turn it up until it's loud enough to hear.

Did you mean delay? Might want to look at the TC Corona or MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe for chorus. Octave sounds pretty at home in both genres, maybe start there (hint....Boss OC-2 will probably be recommended a ton although I prefer the Aguilar Octamizer).

Yes, take them out. Also, batteries will corrode and, if left to their own devices, seep out bad goo. And you are correct with the battery drain so you might as well put them to use elsewhere.

That's really too dependent on what you want. I would have to experiment myself, but when I had two amps I would run only clean through one (the B15 obviously) and wet through the other. Try it out and let us know what worked (once you've got a Meatbox).

I was using the B100R in tandem with a '70's B15N for a while. It's a great setup! I did the Faital 10" mod to mine if that's something you've been wondering. If I were still going with that setup I'd route the wet signal to the B100R and keep one amp clean. I think it would sound great even...
