I mean, if you can get your hands on that single string... you could buy a regular TI flat set and add that one specific string. I have done that tons of times for a 5-string but with rounds (since single round wound strings are easy to find and I had the same problem with nut) for the same...

The pickups are 100% swappable, but with mine I found out that raising or lowering the pickups would drastically change the tone. Mine came with super low pickups and with a low output, raising them made it better and added punch. But if that doesn't change or it is not that comfortable for you...

The controls are the regular Jazz or PJ controls, Volume for the front/neck pickup, volume for the bridge pickups and master tone. They both work with a regular PJ or a J since they both have 2 pickups and a master tone. Hope it helped any question just ask. Carlos//

I dont think you will have any problems using those CS 60s on that preamp at all, same for the aguilar or any other pickup.

A friend of mine has a 2012 model, a regular Jazz nut was a perfect replacement, I think all Aerodynes have the regular jazz bass nut, I would say 1214 would be a drop-in replacement (with all the adjusts you would do later to fit your preferences...) hope it helped, I also have a buddy with one...
