ANY combination of gauges you are interested in can be made into a custom set just for you. Just pick your favorite retailer and let em know what you'd like..we do have strings for that combination in both Lo Rider and Hi Beams.

Odd since ALL our strings except our Short Scale (32") and Extra Longs(LMR-45 40") should be wound to the same length. 37 3/4".

Just so you are all aware, we've listened to your input and have adjusted the winding length of our B strings to accomodate the 34" scale length. We have SLIGHTLY reduced the winding length (1/4 ") so that it's just a hair shorter, thus allowing for ease of installation without having to wrap...

Actually Richard has happily been playing our Sunbeam Bass strings for a few years now, in a custom gauged set of 40-12o...not sure if he uses some other type as well.

We put a disclaimer in every round core set giving instructions as to how and why you should crimp at least 45 degrees before cutting the string.

Hey there...I just took a look at the silk issue in the factory, and measured the length on every bass we have here..none of the saddles had any contact with the silk windings, so I'm not sure what kind of bridge you are using that would give you that problem. As far as the tone of the strings...

I'm not sure where you get your information from, but Dunlop brand strings are made on machines that Dunlop has acquired from whichever source they get their machinery from. We don't have any 'ex' DR machines that I know of.

A 'Tapered' string is one where the winding from the ball end is smaller in diameter than the rest of the string length to allow less mass across the bridge. Some basses/ bridges work better with this style of string construction due to either a sharp angle or other tonal influences. Our taper...

Hey all...we have recommended quite frequently using the LONG NECKS on 5 strings Warwicks as the tapered end will work nicely with their types of bridge set-ups. Or if you wish, you could custom order a regular HI BEAM or LO RIDER 4 string with a tapered B. Many US retailers order them from us...

185? yikes! you could special order any custom gague set of DR's from your local retailer, try MUGG in Goteborg- Bruce is the man. We have tossed around going heavier than a 135, perhaps 145 or 150...but only if the demand is high.
