    “Feeling” the bass

I play at a lot of venues where, 90% of the time, I don’t have a bass amp onstage—just a mixer for my in-ear monitor mix. The problem is that I just can’t feel the bass. I can hear it just fine, but I don’t get the same physical response, and I don’t play my best because of it. I’m thinking...

    Stacked Knob Height

Why can’t preamp manufacturers make their stacked knobs shorter? Sadowsky 3/4” tall - not bad not great Aguilar OBP 7/8” tall - not good Nordstrand 1” tall - Nad John East 1-1/8” way too tall! Terrible Anyone else bothered by this? I feel like 5/8” should be max height.
