i would use the wipe on, because the wood won't deform or groove that fast, you just need to fill in the grooves left by the frets. the epoxy will make it much faster-and glossier- which means a faster board. so epoxy that suckha!

i made a fretless out of an old Ibanez, but i didn't epoxy it, i just filled the fretgrooves w/ wood glue and strung it up. I do not recomend you do this at all. jazzEADG
