It sounds deeper due to the placement of the neck pu, being further away from the bridge on the longhorn compared to the DC.

Didn´t know that you have trouble with your Realistic. Thought your pickups are doing fine after repotting. Maybe the pickups of my old Eko are suffering from demagnetising as well. I will see. (But maybe I should have better post this in your Jay Turser thread? Don´t know...sorry..)

Same with my Höfner club. Played with a pick, palm muted and neck pickup only - sounds huge!
