Pups are subtle and dramatic at the same time if that makes sense. My 44-01 has a custom Audere Pro Z I was able to order after some discussion. Too bad they are no longer being made.

I have half of that right now, BA 15-3, had a chance to pair the BA210-3 with it! Big rig is right. Just AWESOME! Definitely would be overkill for small stages or places.

I believe I have seen you post that you have a Fodera now? If so, how much play time does it get compared to your collection of Rays ? Different animal tonaly, and I would imagine there is a difference in playability. Would love to play a Fodera some day to see and feel the difference.

All four of mine are good to go! All have relatively fresh strings on them. Dislike severally dead rounds. Mostly play 2 of the four.

I have an early gen 1 V7. No problems except one, it is heavy! Pre amp has been trouble free and sounds great in passive mode.

Jeff, does the HPF on the 800+ operate differently since it is variable? I’m guessing yes?

For a boomy stage, the HPF on the new MG 800+ will work while still giving the versatility of the contours.
