Bought this Squier P-Bass last year, when another Aluminum user let this 35" Baguley neck go on FB. Now my Fender PJ with RGI neck and my Kramer DMZ 5000 have a new buddy:

Well well, with the RGI neck it became my most played main Bass again. It kicked the original Ricky from his throne and brought me back to my first bass, which used to be a Fender Precision Bass Special California Series in his first life. Now the bass has DiMarzio PUs, Hipshot bridge, RGI neck...

But can't you tighten the tuners with a small screwdriver?

Take one tuner off your bass, measure it, measure the hole, make pics of it, make pics of the back of the headstock and post them here. Would help to help you ;-)

Yes, DGCF. Intonation is perfect on mine, but had to shorten screws and springs. So moving the bridge would be nice for me, but not necessary for DGCF/CGCF.

Hi Hank, nice color, love it! I put the lower four of a La Bella five string shorty flats set on mine (.65/.85/.105/.128). As I'm loving it for D-Standard, the sound of the lowest string isn't defined enough for Drop-C for my liking. I play fingerstyle, but also similar kinda Rock, Stoner...

I don't need my old 78 Musicmaster bridge anymore ... but the bridge is in Switzerland.

I also think it's not a really loud amp. Though I could keep up with one loud guitar and a loud drummer playing Stonerrock. But the master is quite on max, the gain is also wide open and I played it on my Ampeg fridge, I liked that sound, but far from clean. I don't own any other 100w tube amp...

As I have never played my Bassman on my Ampeg SVT 810E and the YBA-100 I played only with that cab so far, it's quite difficult to say. But with the Bassman 135 compared to the Ampeg SVTII nonpro with several 2x15 configurations and also a 4x12 cab, I would also say, the Bassman is "missing"...

I do own a Bassman 135 and a YBA-100. But I guess you meant to compare two 100w amps, didn't you?

Mighty loud that little rocker!!

So far I played it at home, kinda low to medium volume on my 8ohm SVT-210AV cab. I managed to have lovely creamy sounds at those volumes, by cranking the gain knob ... Another day this week I will tell you about loud volumes with an Ampeg fridge. Cheers!

It's built in a modern way, but looks durable. If durable for you is point to point in an oldschool easy to repair way, you will pay ~ 2500 bucks.
