@Mustang Surly, at the end of the day you have to play what's comfortable, and if a 6er with comfortable spacing comes with an uncomfortable neck width then practically maybe 5 strings with good spacing is the best option!

It takes a bit of getting used to (I jumped straight from 4 strings to 10 strings years ago then got other ERBs along the way) and I wouldn't necessarily use it all the time, but yes Binky is definitely quite easily playable! I usually use my 6 string De Gier and my 8 string Conklin for general...
