Yeah, the sweaty thing was the exact problem I had when I tried it out yesterday and I didn't get the same feeling at all on the P34 (or even the 435).

Technically no, but it's the only bass I currently play. I also have a Spector Euro LX4, and while I love its tone it's just too uncomfortable to play for long. The Stingray Special (4H) is just so comfortable and I can get great tones out of it.

That looks stunning indeed! The chrome hardware does look good here, I think because you have a lighter fretboard but now I'm wondering if it would've worked with ebony too. Congrats on such a gorgeous bass.

I'm very curious to see this. When I ordered my Blue Dream I went for black hardware as I wasn't sure I'd love chrome with an otherwise dark looking instrument (ebony fretboard too). I do love the dark look of the whole thing but sometimes I wonder if a bit of shiny from chrome would look good...

Yep, the back is just black with the Blue Dream finish. I don't mind it as that's against my body anyway. I still have a "wow" every time I look at this thing on the stand!

Came here to post this 😄 This is the video I've been waiting for. I really like Oxblood, Butane Blue and Faded Vintage. The BFR is pretty nice too. April availability, apparently. Definitely want to see some of these in person.

That BFR really looks amazing. I wish they hadn't put the Butane Blue in a dark corner! It almost looked black from that shot. Would love to see that one in more detail.

Tougher question I first thought. There's lots of obvious answers, but perhaps a slightly less obvious one (and sticking with a fellow Englishman) is Guy Pratt. He's a great all-round player.

Another mediocre player here :) I started playing in the late 90s in my mid-teens, by mid-20s living arrangements meant I'd stopped playing. Now in my early 40s I've picked it up again and am realising just now much time I lost and how much my skills atrophied.
