I was wondering on that bass. The pickup configuration is quite different from the traditional Thumb layout. Does it still sound like a Thumb? That configuration is basically the same as the FNA Jazzman, right?

Hey Folks, Just curious if Warwick has ever made a bass with either the streamer or corvette body shape and the thumb pickup configuration? I'm thinking it could possibly be the best in terms of body balance, weight distribution, and also get the Thumb sound.

I don't think it's dodgy but my plan is to check the serial number and verify those with Markbass themselves. That should be the first step and if that itself is inconclusive, then needless to say, not going ahead with the purchase.
