    Help with this 2 capacitor tone pot

    So I opened my 2006 Hwy1 Jazz Bass and I found out that the 250k tone pot has two caps, one standard .02uF on the 3rd lug to ground and a second one between lugs 1 and 2 wich is 100nF. Has anyone know how this works or how's changing the tone? Thanks!!
