10 gigs of ram.

yeah, this is on my studio mac pro 2x2.8 ghz 2008, so it now is officially the behemoth of the household. ironic on many levels.

digital performer with 10 gigs of ram surely zips along, even with 22 tracks of 24bit/96khz audio tracking simultaneously.

I hate to say it but I've run two optically linked MOTO's for 16 tracks recording at 24bit/96khz simultaneously into LIVE on my 2g of ram on my MacBook Pro before. Just saying.

oh, i know it - the motu stuff works amazingly well, considering how cheap it is and how stable it runs. i'm a real believer in their hardware.

Eh JT , Have you got the DP7 update?

I just got it and it simply rocks!!!!!

So freakin' insanely stable. Just spent the last two weeks without a single hicup. Not even a Spin ball at the "save"......

Glad to see other folks with DP.....

Been to Unicornation yet?

On this pc that I'm currently using, when I assembled it together in 2004 I installed 512 mb of ram, thinking that it was an ungodly amount. Boy how technology changes so quickly.

(My next pc will be acquired when I graduate college next semester and then I can get rid of this dinosaur).
