$100 Bass Challenge - Marceline's Axe Bass

I'm sense a Mapleglo Fan Club groundswell… (but be prepared to have many Ric Mapleglo bass pics flooding in as well! :))
Call it something like "The Official @mapleglo Fan Club" to denote the user versus the Ric.

This just arrived in the mail:

I'll have to look for a black or dark blue sharpie. The stitching on that little green horse/man is pretty tight, and the fabric on the shirt is pretty light. I don't know I want to chance cutting those threads and leaving a hole.

Wow, I am speechless. You all are way too kind :)

I was actually blushing when I read the last few posts.

Aww Shucks.

Listen, there are a lot of folks here in Luthierland who inspire me, and amaze me. I can't believe the high quality designs and finishes some of these people do. But originality? The Leafenbacker and Marceline's Axe Bass are easily two of the coolest done here, and you did them both by the seat of your pants, learning as you went.

You're humble and loveable, and I'm still sad that my road trip never brought me out Arizona way.

If considering going 'public'? (posted as it's own thread), exactly what would it encompass? Could be best served for Nexy for it to be a fan-thread within a thread (as in; for fun). I mean, she's a rockstar, but I can imagine she's also a private person right? just sayin'...

As you may know, I have threads that morph into other but related area's. I ended one of my titles with, "etc" to convey such ;)

(sigh) El Spearo #6.

It looks like I'm stuck.

I have no plans to start an actual thread, though.

probably best atc  it's a FOM thang (fans of Mapleglo) :bassist: (i.e., a very exclusive club!)
