2013-14 NHL Regular Season Thread: Second Period

That's fine. I'm not disagreeing with you.

I just think it's funny that you are apologizing and predicting a Penguins choke when they've been doing that anyway the last few years. Thus, the going out on a limb comment.

-Mike

Yeah...I get it now. Should I have predicted the Leafs would have choked as well a month ago???

First, Mike, where are you from in central Pa.?

I'd kinda disagree about Pittsburgh not having depth. So much talent holding in the AHL for them. They are getting some key personnel back as of late too.

Now, if we can get some good post season goaltending......

I think Quick and the Kings are the team to beat in the west. Colorado is hungry but young.

I want to agree with you about the Kings but I feel like they wont be as good as they were the past two playoffs. St Louis, Anaheim, and San Jose are tough teams and with the exception of St Louis, LA has been struggling somewhat against these teams.

Here's hoping for another great playoff run, LA fans!!!!! Go Kings go!!

Paul Martin has said that he will hopefully be back for the game on Saturday. My Penguins playoff optimism just shot up a few notches.

You guys see Jagr got 4 points last night and called out his team for playing like ass when they won by 3 goals? What a boss. His points were all valid, but not many players in the league can command enough respect to pull that off.

I did see/hear that, and I agree with you. He wants the playoffs bad. Maybe a match-up with Boston where he averages a goal and assist per game. :D
