Oh & gracias to those who tried to explain the ncaa to me. But I must be nowhere near as clever as I think I am, because the whole thing still seems like one big Charlie Foxtrot to me.

Interesting tidbit... The Flyers have a 4-0-2 record against NHL heavyweights St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Boston since March 15.
Now come on a beat the Blue Jackets tonight! 1-2 against the Blue Jackets who have scored an average of 5 goals per game against the Flyers this season.

B's finally dropped a game in regulation against the Red Wings - the team played hard, but Howard game up big and Nyquist blew by Chara for the game winner.
Tonight the B's are playing another team fighting for their playoff lives in Toronto. I just hope the team gets through these games without injury and at least clinch home ice through the conference finals. They have a shot for home ice through the SC Finals, which would be nice, but not as essential as health.

The B's have a really good team. Solid D and goaltending, great transitional game, natural goal scorers and they forecheck like rabid weasels. The Wings hung around long enough to stay in the game and Gus put the burners on big Chara. That game felt like a playoff game.....a whole lot of speed.
Yeah But Pittsburg has had Crosby all year and Malkin most of the year. The Wings have played more games without Zetterberg and Datsyuk than with them. And the Wings weren't as good of team to begin with. I still believe Babcock has done a better job under far tougher circumstances. H#$*, he's even had to use mediocre defenseman Brendan Smith as a Forward many games.
That's fine if you want to debate the importance of the missing players. I was just pointing out the facts.

The Jackets’ win over the Flyers makes things a little interesting in the Metro, as the BJs are just two points in back of Philly (87) for third in the division and a first-round date with the Rangers. The Flyers have the tie-breaker in regulation wins (36). SportClubStats still has them with a 61 percent chance of placing third in the Metro … but there’s a still a chance they can drop to the wild card.
Which means there’s still a chance they could meet the Penguins in the first round.
That sound you just heard was Marc-Andre Fleury [expletiving] himself.

Good win for the Pens to get the ship righted last night. First game for Paul Martin in a very long time, and he looked incredible. The defense plays so much better when he is in the lineup. He buried a great GWG too.
