2013-2014 NHL playoffs thread.

A few observations from this afternoon:

-It just occured to me that Dallas and New York have the same damn uniforms. They thought they'd just change the colors & sneak it by us.

-I can't decide if Giroux looks cool or stupid with those orange curly wings sticking out his helmet. Either way, you'd be hard pressed to find a more impressive permanent in the league.

-Watching a game on NBC and not having to listen to Pierre Maguire is like comin on home. God bless you, Brian Engblom. God bless you.

Agreed the offsides call was blown. Overall looks to me the series hasnt been called different than the others.

Maybe it was hockey karma fixing the play Cooke only got 2 minutes for.

As was the holding right before. I'm not one to blame everything on officials, but there have been some pretty obvious missed or non calls lately. Not just I this series, just inconsistent in general.

Not calling that hold when the net is empty was asinine. Colorado can get bent. ...and I don't know what the hell an "Av" even is.

"What's your team called?"
"The Avs."
".....uh......cool?"

At least they use a shortened version of the actual team name (the Avalanche, y'know ;) ). As opposed to the Habs.

That non-goal in the Flyers/Rangers game was atrocious yesterday. The camera angle they showed still looked to me like the ref had a better look at it than the camera did and I could still see it from the side view camera behind Mason's skate blade on the ice.

Going to be interesting watching Tuesday night's game in Philly. With the way this series has been getting called, certain things are sure to get out of hand very fast.
