A very good question. I don't know for sure, but I'm sure they would answer it on their Facebook page. Seems to me they do have universal power trannies, though. Don't think it would change the sound of the amp.

2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

Ok! Thanks, I have just sent an inbox, let's see what happens. However judging from what I've read here, the transformer is for export. But I'm not completely sure haha.
It doesn't have any markings or a serial number. It is solid ply and has 8 matching drivers, sounds good and for $375 I can't complain.
Can't go wrong at that price. If you carefully remove a speaker you should be able to date it from a code on the frame.
I only tested it with the sellers 7 pro. Its out in the garage. Will plug her in tomorrow.

Someone pulled the i.d. sticker off of the jackplate (hopefully they were not trying to hide anything).
By the looks of it, it is a newer model.
Notice that the middle connector pulled off of the grill frame and is stuck on the baffle. You may want to screw it back on the grill.
*Also- note that if you plug into the highest speaker jack - only the top four speakers will be used - @ 8 ohms (assuming all is stock).

The top 1/4 jack has a black sleeve the set of two is silver, maybe it was replaced. The Rolex is in bad shape and has gaffers tape all over it. Not sure if I will leave it or or pull it off and retailer, use curated or stain the wood.
I didn't notice the fastener thanks for that and the manual. I just threw it in the garage, snapped a few pics and went inside. When I get some time today I will give it a closer inspection.
We live in an older house so the garage is detached and is in the back of the yard. I also recently bought a pickup truck do this option is way easier then hauling a 4x10 size cab out of the basement.
Can't wait to play it, unfortunately I have some home remodel plans in the works for my day off.

Yes they do, I run both Ricks and Fenders though Ampegs.
I do have a question though, how much cheaper is a new V4-B than an SVT head? I had an original one years ago and it had a good sound, not as good as an SVT but it did sound good, the problem I had with it was that it didn't have much head room. So I guess what I am asking is why would anyone buy a V4-B when they can have an SVT?
A V-4B is lighter and cheaper, but still sounds awesome, still has more than enough power to go loud, IME.
Im sure others will chime in but the v4b is very loud but it also allows you to get some power tube distortion at lower volumes. It's also 40lbs I can drag around 40lbs to regular gigs. 80lbs not so much. The heritage is $1000 more and the Vr isn't much cheaper if price is an is the classic is maybe $500 more haven't checked in a while
Aside from being lighter it also has an 8 ohm tap, and if you're taking vintage amps a 2/4/8 ohm switch rather than having to run one or two 4 ohm cabs.
You can run two 8 ohm cabs with an SVT, just buy a parallel 1/4" jack from rat shack (two jacks into one) and plug both cabs into the main output.
Nothing wrong with a Y cable BUT you want to ensure that the adapter is rated to handle speakers and not a shielded cable intended for input levels.
