2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

I love the tones I get out of the V4B but like most others it would be great to get a little more head room. I like a very clean tone and don't like having to crank up the gain and master to get enough power and have to flirt with distortion. So I figure my options are the following:
1. Take back the V4B and get the CL. (I really don't want to spend the extra money have the large weight increase.)
2. Always use FOH support.
3. Come up with a method to use my Mesa D800 class D head to power one cab and V4B to power the other.

With this last method, what is the best way to wire it? Should I come out of the slave out or preamp out on the V4B? Then do I go into the instrument in or aux in on back of the D800?

cabinet selection is also my chosen solution.

Like this...lol. I posted this a wile back.

It sounded killer and huge, more then enough for any gig. I used it for a wile but became a lot to move when all my gigs have PA support and a single v4b and 610 is more then enough. I ended up selling half this setup. Honestly if I was running smaller cabs maybe the duel v4bs would of made more sense.

Anyways these v4bs are one of the best sounding amps out, paired with a large cab or cabs these amps can get loud.

Added a second v4b to the arsenal "again"...I seem to repeat myself buying, selling then buying again especially when it comes to amps and cabs. Anyways the v4b is so good sounding and lite weight, after selling some other gear the v4b was the logical choice. I was tempted with the PF-50T, I've heard lots of good things but the 100watts just seems to do it for me with a little extra to spare when running these larger cabs. I'm also intrigued salving the v4bs together and running one into the upper and one into lower and splitting the 810cab...not that I need the extra power but could be fun and looks cool with two heads! I've rediscovered my love for ampeg tone, especially running the v4b thru the 810 cab...man I've been missing out all these years!

What can I say, looks so beautiful!
The cab to the right is a 610 with AV grill cloth, I presume?

does this anti cab mixing theme apply if you are bi-amping..
i understand why mixing cabs w/same amp feed is a "shot in the dark" lol
have tried it and it gets puzzling when trying to EQ for the room..

thanx jimmy, do you know if the x-over in a carvin bi-amped head (is a 600 i think) , peavey mark IV or VI have proper crossovers?
sorry for being a little off topic, but i do have an old V4 and like it.
am looking to get a dedicated 2/3 way crossover to use sometimes with a pre-amp my crest cks1600 too, a buddy has a few of them and i am not sure what exactly he has to get rid of yet..
