2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

This comment blows me away. Not sure what to think of it or Ampeg right now. With the problems he's having his amp should have been tested before it was shipped.
It's not Ampeg talking, it's me. Every amp is tested before it is shipped to our warehouse. If we tested them again at the warehouse, no one would ever get their gear. Don't go crazy because I like to throw around humor, yo!

With four DOA out of the box amps in succession, clearly something is wrong. One would think that, because of these extraordinary circumstances, Loud would first want to see this client right without further delays and without inconveniencing him any further, then find out what the issue is. Yes, the amp needs to be examined at a service center but awaiting the outcome of that shouldn't be on the client.

The solution is simple, pull an amp from stock, check it out to make sure it works, overnight it to him.

Sweetwater to the rescue. They are indeed the best there is. They got more V4B stock, and are opening boxes and testing units until they find me one that works. They will then ship a tested working one to me. Overnight isn necessary because I live only a few hours away and standard shipping is 1 day.

Hodgy, the two dead heads I have here will be picked up at my office tomorrow, by UPS. I will take care of the pickup fee. One has a label for return to New Jersey, and one has a return label for your authorized repair center near Cleveland. As far as I am concerned, Loud can make the arrangements to get those heads where they need to be after repair. Sweetwater ends up "short" one head this way, but said they would deal with Loud on their end to get it taken care of. I highly recommend Sweetwater to ANYONE looking to purchase gear. They will make SURE the customer is happy. My mistake was involving Loud in the first place.

I honestly don't think customers or retailers would protest the wait for that extra step because it sure beats getting three dead ones and having to wait for a fourth replacement.

Very cool you are going to love the sound cheeze I can't say enough about this amp and cab they are the perfect match and kudos to Ampeg for bringing this amp back.
