2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

Too bad the Ampeg 212 isn't a 8 ohm load, 4 of them would look sweet!

No problem, the amp is versatile. With some external cables or a breakout box you could get 4 ohms: connect two of the 4 ohm cabs in series to get a total of 8 ohms and plug that into the 4 ohm jack, then repeat with another pair. Each pair would go into the two 4 ohm jacks.

Thanks for pointing that out. You are absolutely correct. I mistyped and I have fixed my post.

Just to be clear. Connect the pair of 4 ohm cabs in series will give you an 8 ohm cabinet. The two pairs should be connected to the 4 ohm jacks.


I'm still missing it here guys. How do you connect the 4ohm cabs in series?
