I'm willing to bet the V4B will sound HUGE with two 212AV cabs.

I'm picturing four 212 cabinets making a wall of sound. I used to run two 412 Mesa-Boogie cabinets and it was glorious. But it was too much to schlep. The 212 is manageable which is a big plus.

No problem, the amp is versatile. With some external cables or a breakout box you could get 4 ohms: connect two of the 4 ohm cabs in series to get a total of 8 ohms and plug that into the 4 ohm jack, then repeat with another pair. Each pair would go into the two 4 ohm jacks.

Just to be clear. Connect the pair of 4 ohm cabs in series will give you an 8 ohm cabinet. The two pairs should be connected to the 4 ohm jacks.

You are correct. Each 8 ohm stack would go into one of the 4 ohm jacks. Overkill for a 100w amp, but I guess it's fun to speculate. Me, I'd buy two heads if it came down to that, which it wouldn't for me in a million years.

Yeah its a 76 v4 with the mod done on channel 1 to make it a v4b!! Its alotta fun!! I was looking to get a reissue and was about to pull the trigger when this popped up locally on CL

Hey thanks! I love it! The extra cab added a lot of headroom and really improved the lows! Not that they were lacking, just improved! Especially when using the 5 string! Nice solid lows without getting boomy!

That's what I'm talking about. I will definitely be getting a 2nd 212AV cab to fill out my rig.

You need parallel to series converters in between each cab pair. Others know more about how to make it happen than me, but they change the wiring over to series externally to present two 8 ohm loads instead of two 4 ohm loads.
