2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

My first bass amp ever was a pf350. I scored a v4b reissue from the classifieds here on TB that should arrive tomorrow (I work so maybe rescheduled to thurs). Since the purchace I've even spent the last couple days scouring the mega threads for any info/opinions on peoples experience with this amp. Of course the feedback has me really looking forward to my first full tube tone experience. My current cab situation is a single genz benz uber 15. If I remembered reading correctly it was suggested that another cab would be needed to increase the volume and keep up with a loud band/larger gigs. Could anybody with this amp and an eminence 3015 equivalent cab confer?
Another uber 15 would surely help the volume war... But it'll still sound great into the single. Also the stack will get em up closer to ear height which is usually a plus
Ya, bigger is always better but it sounds darn good with a single small cab, too.
Well, I got my amp in today. Really look forward to playing it once the seller sends me the power cord.................Anyways what kind of power cord comes with this thing (no manual came either)?
You can use any 18 gauge IEC cord. Try radio shack if you don't have one.
He sold you the amp, now how much does he want for the cord.

I have forgotten to pack the power cord a couple of times. I never shipped it that way - but a couple of times I finished taping a package up, turned around, and the darned power cord is on the table - or the floor. Waste of packing tape

Unfortunately, the factory warranty is not transferable.

You can get an 'IEC' cable almost everywhere. Same cable used for computers and monitors too. Even some coffee machines use those cables... You can find them for as low as $2-$3 in some electronic stores... It never hurts to have a few extra anyway, and you can buy different length as well.

Also, if you have one nearby, a second hand store/thrift store likely has a pile of those power cords for about .50 cents to a dollar or so apiece.
Yeah probably will just go out and buy one but wanted to check in here with the well informed to make sure I didn't get the wrong cord and blow up my fun before it begins. Like I said I think it was just an honest mistake (but a great troll none the less). There is no anger, ill will, or feelings of being had on this end. Just the joy of anticipating firing up my first tubes.
Just bought a V-4B, finally! There's quite a bit of hum even with the master volume at 0. Bad power tubes? Bias control to adjust?
