2017- What's on your GAS List?

I wouldn't say gas - more of a slow burn. I'm in no hurry at all :)

But I'm building something like this up, just for fun,

y.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fi207.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fbb114%2FMunjibunga%2FEAWSubMainCleanTB3.png

and I still need to power the thing. So a nice hefty power amp is my contribution.

Slow burn indeed. I have a "to get....eventually" list. Or "don't what to forget about this one" list haha. There are some things that have been on there for a couple years. It seems my GAS is much more impulsive. Like, way more impulsive. Here's some of the "to get" list:

Hopefully in 2017, someone will buy the bass I have listed on TB so I can purchase a new cab or a combo amp:

Greenboy Audio Fearless F112 or F115.
Mesa Walkabout Scout 15" version.

Other than a new cab, I'm content with the gear I have. Actually need to sell things I don't play anymore.

Think I'm going to try one of these:

The Junior Barnyard pre-amp. Made to cop the tone of archtop guitar players from the '40's like Junior Barnard. The guy who builds these is into throwback guitars and equipment. I have one of his 'Brain' pre-amps, it's an always-on effect that punches up the volume without sacrificing clarity. There are a couple of YouTube videos from guitar players and I really dig the tone they get from it.

Well after a year in which I purchased, my Spector NS 4H2, a Spector Euro LX Amber Burst 2 Darkglass pedals and a Darkglass Microtubes 900 head, I traded the Darkglass head for a Mesa Head and now this year I will try to purchase some Mesa Boogie cabs....unless the wife kills me for spending so much money
