I check their website almost daily for the "New for 2018" basses, but I think it will coincide with the NAMM show.

Found this on the Ibanez Facebook page, Ibanez SR870 has Bartolini BH2 pickups, Newly designed B500 bridge with adjustable string spacing, Jatoba/Walnut 5pc Neck, Glossed flame maple top, mohogany body with walnut core, Ibanez 3band EQ w/ mid freq switch, and neck joint truss rod adjustment.
I talked to my local dealer on Saturday, I want one, it's 34" scale. I play upright but this will be great when I don't have room for the acoustic or playing a gig where I don't want to hassle with hauling the big boy.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
More info about the upright (but as far as I can see no scale length)
From an Ibanez dealer:
"The go live date is early this year, 1/10, for everything but the limiteds and show specials, and a couple others."

Still hoping for a custom shop available to the public!
Hopefully Ibanez will make a bass that doesn't sound, well, like an Ibanez. They all sound the same!
That is a good idea.Still hoping for a custom shop available to the public!
Woah! A SRSC806...I might have to move my BTB846![Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
