The SRSC80* Cerro basses were just introduced at BPL last year and went on sale the beginning of 2017. The BB84*SC Terra Firma basses were just redesigned in the middle of 2017, IIRC. So, I don't expect any changes, except perhaps colors. I own an SRSC805, and the only think I don't like about it is the position of the upper strap button, which increases reach and worsens balance. I'd like to see Ibanez extend the upper bout by a fret or two, but I don't see it happening this year.
none on the list I've got so far... Love their single cut. I'm still using the Terrafirma BTB685SC as my main.

Thanks for giving us all this early information. Have you heard of any plans for another 4-string BTB, i.e. not the BTB740? I would be interested in a premium BTB 4-string.

I'd love for there to be new fretless models and a step up from the 800 series.

I forgot whether I've mentioned the BTB1825/1826 on my earliest post about the new 2018 models (besides on post #165 above)... they are the revamped version of BTB1805E/1806E (the ones with Aguilar DCB PUs) from using rosewood back & top into walnut back & top (no info what's on the fretboard). So this might be due to the CITES thing.
BTB1826 sounds like a premium series model. Do you have a photo and spec sheet showing the BTB1826?

Yes, they belong to the Premium series.
The BTB1826 appeared on the Bass Player Mag photo that @skeeler had posted (post #116 in this thread). It's the number two from the right in the first picture on that post.
As mentioned above, basically the BTB1826 looks the same as BTB1806E. Don't have the specs yet except that it has walnut top & back, not rosewood used on BTB1806E.
SR5SMLTD is limited production model sold in the end of 2016 ~ beginning of 2017. No new production for 2018.
Not sure if I prefer the Rosewood top on the BTB1806E over the BTB1826 with the Walnut top or not. I wonder if that change had anything to with the Cites rules. I know Ibanez had issues getting a lot of instruments to market in a timely manner because of the rosewood issue. I am sure they lost some sales in 2017 as a result. Many people had to wait for stock to arrive .... giving people the chance to change our minds or buy instruments from other manufacturers.

How many strings? The SRSC805 has a 305-mm radius and 18-mm spacing.
