A rhinestone and platinum mutt. Maybe the Tony Franklin, but it'd hafta be fretless.

...and Rickenbacker would be just fine in church.
You take it on faith
You take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part.

None of them. Dude, seriously, you have such a fantastic, great arsenal of basses. You can play/cover each and every tone you want with ease. I follow your posts for a long time, reading your thoughts about bass guitars, tone...? None of the above is a real game-changer to what you already have. Thus, keep saving up...! If I would be in your shoes? I would maybe consider heading another route, and rather GAS for a new amp/cabinet(s).
Indeed, it lacks a "Carrots" option. This is not a serious poll.
this. $2k? Buy a neglected '91-98 manual BMW 325/328 and drive the wheels off of it.buy a ... 3xx series
None of these. For around 2k, I'd buy a Christopher 3xx series, or a nice Strunal. Probably the first of these, because the shop who sells them is far better in setting things up than the shop who sells the others.
That matte black fiver was the one I was eyeballing recently. Went with a passive Fender Jazz five for under half the price. Figured I should at least have one of those. I haven’t had the opportunity to play one of those Rics yet. Probably a good thing (for my wallet)I got to play a matte black Ric 4003S/5 and the neck felt amazing to play--even a bit better than my prized StingRay 5.
Ric tone with a 5th string? Yes, please!
Which is why I voted for the Ric and will be picking the one I demoed up soon.
If I had 2k I'd be going for a used Dingwall 9 chances out of 10, otherwise I'd go higher end Dean or Warwick and spend the rest on bass lessonsI will finally get my Fender US Geddy Lee out around Christmas or New Year. The problem is that it has taken me so long to get it, I am not that excited about it anymore (that could easily change when it actually does come home.) I am thinking about letting it go for something a bit more expensive or maybe even something cheaper. This is not a serious poll. I just want to know what some of you think.

Note: the roofs are humorously low on the two-doors ("is" models), but the doors are long enough to make up for it if you're the kind of person who likes the b-pillar back out of the way.

I get the saying, but good thing I'm not buying a BMWA $2K BMW has already had the wheels driven off.![]()
