Just don't sell haha! Or sell high enough that flippers won't want it.

This is my strategy. I used to be of the mindset of just don't sell. Now I'm of the mindset of sell it for market and donate the excess money to a good cause. This way, it won't get bought and flipped...instead, the middleman will be charity (and a tax write-off). I figure if you can't beat em, join em and put the difference towards something good...hence my more recent classified postings in case folks were confused. You are not allowed to explain that in your actual sale post...so I guess these things just come across as confusing. If I ever decide to sell any 3Leaf, that's what I'm doing...I'd be so pissed if I sold something here and saw it listed in a week at a markup.

I mean, hook up your friends with solid prices too...but if you aren't sure if your friend is gonna flip it, I feel like donating the flipper tax is the move.

If spencer sold some of the new enclosures with no pedal, I bet a bunch of us would buy it to not have the letter issue. Could be a quick way for him to start flowing some cash to the business again?

I gotta admit that as much as I love his pedals, dude has proven to be unreliable and his customer support borders on nonexistent. I refuse to part with my 3Leaf toys but I can’t recommend the brand to anyone.

Any opinions here on the Seamoon Funk Machine?

I had one for a minute. It's very, very specific. I didn't like it at all, all of the useful tones (something akin to The Brecker Brothers - Sponge) I got out if it, I actually preferred on MXR BEF. The thing that super annoyed me was that the envelope always started with a percussive sound. It's a very specific tone, not for me.
JoshWah on the other hand is my favorite, it's just sublime IMO.

I just ordered a Seamoon. It’s downsweep only which I find interesting. I’m thinking it might pair up nicely with the upsweep only Joshwah.

I was hoping to get an Octabvre MKIII, but it looks a while until i'll be able. Does anyone know of any decent alternatives? I was looking at the Mutron Octave Divider as it has the footswitchable option to remove the dry signal like Octabvre. Any other suggestions?

yeah, but that doesn't give you the same switchability as the Octabvre. Instantly going from clean mix, to Oct down solo with one switch. having an additional pedal, with an additional power outlet and patch cables etc, does not suit my rig plans

I have an older white Octabvre Mini, and thought I'd want the sub switch. But the reality is that I never change settings mid song, and that as the first pedal in my chain, it's easy enough for me to roll the mix knob with the side of my foot if I need to go from blended to kill dry.

If I didn't have the Mini and wanted an OC2 style pedal, I would get an MXR Vintage Bass Octave and not worry about missing anything. Or perhaps a modded OC2, though I hate the Boss form factor.

NDP here, managed to find a Wonderlove V2 here in Australia for a very reasonable price, and even though I have 2 protons, I couldn’t resist. They will be up for sale soon.

I really love the sounds I can get out of it, exceeding my hopes, but I am finding the expression pedal input a bit odd. It appears to be very sensitive and as such the range only changes in the middle 10% of the pedal. This is a Dunlop expression, and works fine with all other pedals I have used it with.

Any thoughts?

Can you adjust the values of the expression pedal? I have a Chromatron and SA Reflex and had to narrow the values quite a bit in order to make it usable.

Hi CT, no not on this one, but thought that most pedals used the same resistance range. I am intending on adding the wonderlove to a midi board and was going to build a MIDI to expression box so can probably tune the range then.

I believe for the Chromatron Spencer recommended the Dunlop DVP3. Maybe it is also for the WL. I don’t know what the resistance range for that is offhand.
