3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

Its the most beautiful pedal in the world.
I cant believe one of those pedals sold on reverb at $200 two years ago. I would love one for my pedal collection.

Hey team - selling great condition Enabler (#055) / LBB (#51/99) combo in the classifieds if they're of any interest. I'm based in New Zealand but have a friend who is flying to the USA early December who will ship when he arrives (details in the sale post). Hope that's ok to post here - for perhaps obvious reasons I don't sell very much via the TB classifieds!

Hey all. Had a rare opportunity to both A/B my Octabvre MKII w/ my buddy's MKIII. My buddy also happens to be the proud owner of an absolutely incredible Fodera Emperor Elite 6, so I had to tackle both at the same time! The video is still processing in HD, but you can see it here:

My opinion in short: The MKIII has more low mids and tracks a little worse than the MKII. There are some volume differences, but those can also be attributable to component value differences and EQ perception. The tonality is different between the two as well. Use the video as a reference for similar settings on both and glean from it what you can. I apologize that it's not more professional or edited at all; this was unplanned and very spontaneous as it occurred, as we did not have much time to hang out. But I hope it helps someone out there!

As a side note...in the last batch of Octabvre / Doom2, I took the plunge and decided to use a clear nail polish to hold the letters in place in my pedals w the finish issues. I am happy to report that every letter remains exactly as it was when I added the clear coat. Been quite a while since that was....so heads up. You don't have to watch the letters wash away...there is another option.

It certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings/wallet if Spencer waited until January for a drop, but I admit... I've wanted to check out a Proton v4 for a long time, so there's a part of me that's hoping it might be in time for Christmas.

5sg.
I’d love to see the Proton in the new finish. I’m keen to get my hands on a preamp too.

I’ve used the Enabler and the Vulcans and I’m hoping to get some of Spencer’s magic directly into my bass.
