Also, it's winter so he's probably skiing. He's arranged his life so he need only work intermittently and can ski or hike the rest of the time. It's normal for there to be weeks between updates.

I have both and prefer the 3.33 but I set the controls differently. On the 3 I go full counter clockwise on the tone for that OC2 tone. On the 3.33 I am close to 11. Full CC on the 3.33 has to much low end but it is amazing set differently. The 3 is a bit more nasal to my ears overall, while the 3.33 is very lush once you tame the low end.

I agree: ~10 or 11 o'clock on the MK3.33 is approximately the tone of the MK3 fully CC. I also agree the 3 is more nasally and the 3.33 is very lush, though I prefer the more nasally tone myself.

I have to say the Octabvre is the effect I use the less on my board at the moment.
Same here. I now use my analog synths for sub and ended up selling all my 3Leaf Octabvres. I never thought that would be the case.

If I can manage I may try a 3.33 on a future drop but I’m not sweating it…not paying a pre-sale price to get it either (but no judgement to those that did - time is money and $111 isn’t too much to guarantee delivery in my book).

The MXR bass synth has been a game changer for me. I’m in 2 cover bands and play a lot of bass synth parts. It has obviated the need for the 3Leaf trifecta. I sold my Wonderlove and my 3.33 is probably next. I’ll hold on to my Doom2 for now. I use it to add a little dirt to some of the MXR presets. It’s still the best fuzz on the market.
