50w-100w Valve Owners Thread

Here's mine. Mid-late 1963 JTM45. Yes, it's a bass head - 'bass' is roughly scratched into the back panel (Marshall were so hi-tech in those days). There's only a couple of caps difference between the guitar, bass and PA versions. Output is just over 30W. Running KT66's. Sound... well, it gets more guitar than bass use, but it's just probably the best amp I've ever used. Sorry for the lousy pic...

WOW!!! Do you actually gig that amp? It's worth a small fortune these days.

I'm afraid not. All it would take would be a speaker cable fault and the OT could go up in smoke. Not worth the risk. It's kind of a shame but that’s reality. It's kept in storage at a friend's studio. I play out with a Japanese reissue P-bass and a modern amp. Thanks for the nice comments.
