$67 Glarry P-Bass

Yea, I'd been wondering if there were any gunk left in the slot. Some day when I'm up to a whole new setup I'll check that. The first time wood screws are installed they often pull some wood up and make a little ring of sawdust and splinters around the holes.

Slave labor

...or there are countries that are currently industrializing, with companies that have some CNC machines and cheap-ass electronics. Let’s be honest, even mid range basses don’t have expensive components. You’re paying for a bit more TLC during production.

I can’t say for sure that the working conditions are fair here, but we don’t have to be so cynical from the jump.

I ordered a Glarry P Base last night. Going to compare it with my Fender Player Series

FWIW, on 08/30/2019 the price is $74.99 plus $2.99 insurance fee

This is one day before new US tariffs fees go in to effect on Chinese imports.

My $75 Dark Blue P-Bass arrived directly from Glarry today. It was in the newer all styrofoam interior shipping box. No flaws that I can find at all. I lubed the worm gears of the tuners with a squirt of silicon spray before tunning.

Put it side by side my Sonic Red 2019 Fender Player Series that was $600 more. What a bargain from Glarry. No regrets at all on my Chinese vs Mexican comparison test. Money well spent.

Received my blue version of this bass non branded today! The craftsmanship (condition) is what you would expect from a guitar hanging and being played in a music store! Not perfect. That said I love this bass! :)

How were the pups on your Glarry?
Mine were very low output.

The volume is the same as my Fender Player Series P-Bass when going through my amp and both knobs set at max. I was shocked.

A little more hum from the Glarry, that was addressed in the review video going through the amp. No hum when using my Vox Amplug though.
Interesting
