I'm going to post this in three threads so apologies for the overlap. Is anyone willing to lend a T40 pickup to a 3D print artist for final measurements while reproducing pickup covers and rings for T40 pickups? I found an artist willing to do it based on @Matt Kustom 's awesome T40 pickup schematics but the artist said that the final product will be even better if he has the original on hand to get final caliper measurements and a physical idea of how the pickup is constructed. No harm will come to your pickup as I have already provided mine to Matt to deconstruct and make the schematic. Let me/us know. Thanks!
I cut out a few test pieces I can send your way if you want. One is wood the other is PTFE. The PTFE does not laser great for a final product. The best final product would be acrilic. I have some here but it's too thick for this project. I can also send a .SVG file if you want

Question re Super Neos.
From reading your site, they seem like a similar construction to the SFs, just lower winds. If I'm correct in this, can they be made in all the same sizes as the SFs you offer, as I'd be interested in some P2 (close enough the MK) or EMG45, for which I'll get out the router. Lower winds and output are fine as I'd like the wider BW the lower winds should bring and can make my own pres to set the gain where I need. If this is something you haven't made yet and are interested in, I'd be a happy guinea pig.
Not looking to purchase until after the Holiday period and am in zero hurry as I have a number of other basses.

The super neo have the same coil as a SF. A modern version of the SF with more powerful magnets. The construction is a bit different due to how Neodymium magnets are sold. There are pole pieces instead of a blade. For custom soap bars and all the various positions and string spacing we need the string spacing at each pickup in millimeters (preferably measured with calipers) a picture of a ruler thrown over the strings is no help. (This is how many send in measurements) After string spacing for each pickup is measured a .SVG file is sent so the string spacing can be checked. If the print is not accurate adjustment can be made until you are happy with pole location under the string.

Just finished up a custom order set of Peavey T-15 Clones. Customer wanted a T-15 set but with Chrome surrounds. These have modified Humbucker P90 baseplates to accept a blade Humbucker bobbin. Wound to factory specs. Hand cut U.S. steel blades sanded , polished and plated in-house. Mogami Japan lead wire , laser cut U.S. vulcanex top. All connections made with Silver Solder

Experimenting with Alnico 6 Danelectro alternative formats.
Here is a prototype set of A6 P bass simulating middle tone at 7.8k. in standard p Bass wiring for hum cancelling.
Next on the list is 4.2k j bass set
Possible Strat , Telecaster , P90 etc.

Rewind of two mis match p Bass coils for a TalkBass member. @Chop11777
One coil is 73 and one is 77. One coil was dead. Tried to save it but the coil was dead from inside. Fender wound the magnet wire directly to the magnets. Not tape or a between the Alnico and the Plain Enamel. Both coils have been stripped , cleaned up and adjusted. ( They really slammed these things together at the factory). Rewound with Electrasola Plain Enamel and a nice bath in pure paraffin. Old soldier removed. Pickups rewired with U.S. 70's style lead wire and Silver based audio grade solder.

Real quality work! It’s good to have someone on the forum with this type of expertise.
Just finished up these custom order Super Neodymium pickups with exposed blades in Toaster format. U.S. steel 61mm blades. U.S. poly magnet wire , U.S. laser cut vulcanex , Mogami 2 con Lead wire. Silver Solder connections. Both coils are indeed paraffin coated.

Another set of 916 in my collection!
These were Guyker Faux-Gains originally, but they were so incredibly weak and feeble that it was pointless. 916 to the rescue!
Matt gutted the shells and then loaded them with Super Neos (see above!), with the polished blade (because bling!).
Now we're talking!
They originally were installed in my four-string Ibanez Artcore, but while they were enroute back to me from California I decided to put them into this five-string instead. It's a narrow-spaced five, and the blades are just barely long enough to cover all of the strings, but I can't hear any real drop-off on the G or B strings, so I'm gonna roll with it.
The prior pickups were Classic Amplification AlNiCos, which sounded good, but weren't tall enough to get close to the strings. These Guyker shells are a good 2.5mm taller than the CA shells, plus the blade extends very slightly above the top edge, so now they're the right distance from the strings. Oh, and the Neos are LOUD!! I'll drop the CAs into something else Rick-shaped....
Also love the laser-cut logo in the top of the bobbin!

Those look really good in your very nice bass! Glad these worked out for you. The blade is 61mm I couldn't make it any wider as the coil barely fits in the cover. Everything is very tightly packaged. Your bass really does look goodAnother set of 916 in my collection!

The problem with the original coils is that the coils are wound with #44awg to only 5k , there is not enough wire on the coils. They should have been wound to 10k if #44 is to be used. The coils you have now is taller. Factory SF height. It's just enough room to fit 5.4k of #42awg.
