If you wanted to, you can drill the holes a little bigger (the width of the screw head) on the PG (Pick Guard) to counter sink the screws to make it flush with the PG and they’d be out of your way and fill in the holes.....aesthetics

My favourite Fender colour/pickguard combo. I'm on my third like that - two Jazzes and now a P. Colour could also be "vintage white".

Lots of people are saying this might be Vintage White, but it would have more of a "cream/yellow" color to it if that was the case. This one is seems to be Olympic White.
